Bodhisattva

A Buddhist term for a soul who, out of compassion, takes a vow not to enter Nirvana until others can enter before them. They stay behind as teachers and guides to assist all who aspire to the light in order to reach their goal.

The Sanskrit word Bodhi is the urge to wisdom, compassion, and enlightenment, while Bohih is perfect knowledge. Sattvam means reality.
